Our Goal
By staying on Wavecrest we want you to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Barra. From glorious sunsets to walks along the machair and nearby beaches, enjoy Barra's bird and sea life while soaking up some of the best views on the island.
Our Location
Wavecrest Campsite is on croftland by the village of Borve, on the west coast of the island. Our location is perfect to begin or end the popular Hebridean Way, or as a base to spend a few days exploring the island. We are just a five-minute drive from Castlebay and its services.
Our Season
Whilst we are open all year round, our main season runs from April to October. However, we always provide a warm welcome to adventurous visitors at any time of the year! Well-behaved dogs are welcome all year round too.
